Clinically Studied Ingredients in V-BURN Fat Burner:
Capsimax® Capsicum Extract
Capsimax® Capsicum Extract—concentrated highly-active, natural capsicum—delivers the same level of heat as a habanero pepper but without the burn. Capsimax studies have shown it supports your body’s energy production by helping to improve and maintain a healthy metabolism. By triggering the mobilization of the fats that you ingest as part of your diet, capsaicinoids improves lipolysis. Lipolysis is the process in which lipids are broken down and involves hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids. Last, but not least, capsaicinoids also promote thermogenesis, which is the process of generating heat in the body.
Caffeine
Caffeine increases fat burning during exercise. Caffeine doesn’t cause you to burn a lot more calories from a workout. But it does shift your calorie burn to use more fat.
When you work out, your body burns a certain number of calories. Those calories can come from either stored carbs or stored fat. The more intense your workout is the more carbs you burn and the less fat you burn as a percentage of your total calories.
One study found that consuming 3 mg of caffeine per kilogram of bodyweight (that’s the same amount as in the table above) shifted calorie burn more towards fat and increased the maximal rate of fat burning relative to carb burning. Instead of burning through stored carbohydrates, people who took caffeine before exercise burned through more stored fat.
L-Theanine
L-Theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves. It’s used in nootropics to boost mindfulness and focus, as well as to ramp up performance and fat loss. L-Theanine is a calming and mood-regulating nutrient and you might not think that L-Theanine and weight loss go hand in hand. But you’ll be surprised at just how effective this amino acid is for shredding body fat and getting you ripped. To truly discover a leaner, stronger and more athletic physique, you need every advantage supplementation offers. Blasting through workout after workout gives you the fuel to smash chucks from your current physique; but nutrition gives you the building blocks to construct a new body altogether.
Matcha Green Tea
Already nearly calorie free, matcha is a great addition to a weight loss program by tackling the problem from both sides. It boosts metabolism and burns fat. One recent study even suggested that matcha may help burn calories by four times. At the same time, matcha does not put any stress on the body. It doesn’t raise blood pressure or heart rate, making it a safe alternative to questionable quick fixes or pharmaceuticals ridden with side effects. Green tea is well known for its ability to enhance weight loss.
In fact, studies show that it may help speed up metabolism to increase energy expenditure and boost fat burning.
- One small study showed that taking green tea extract during moderate exercise increased fat burning by 17%.
- Another study in 14 people found that taking a supplement containing green tea extract significantly boosted 24-hour energy expenditure, compared to a placebo.
- A review of 11 studies also showed that green tea reduced body weight and helped maintain weight loss.
- A study featured in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that consuming matcha green tea can increase thermogenesis (the body’s own rate of burning calories) from a normal 8%-10% of daily energy expenditure, to between 35% and 43% of daily energy expenditure.
Green Coffee Bean Extract
Green Coffee Bean Extract is currently among the world's most popular weight loss supplements. As the name implies, this supplement is extracted from green coffee beans. The main compounds responsible for weight loss are – Caffeine and Chlorogenic Acid. These compounds aid weight loss in following ways –
Caffeine has been shown to boost your metabolism by 3% to 11%. The increased metabolism makes the calorie burning faster and restricts fat formation. Caffeine is also a potent appetite suppressant for those who find that their ravenous cravings get in the way of their results. Though caffeine is an active compound in green coffee beans, the major weight loss takes place because of Chlorogenic Acid. Chlorogenic Acid is a polyphenol antioxidant that researchers speculate may promote weight loss by reducing the absorption of fat and glucose in the gut, and lowering insulin levels to improve metabolic function.
These studies are randomized controlled trials, which are the gold standard of scientific experiments in humans. One of them published in the Journal Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity, found that subjects who took the extract lost about 18 pounds on average — more than 10 percent of their body weight. The study included 30 overweight individuals and went on for 12 weeks. There were two groups... one consumed regular Instant coffee, while the other consumed Instant coffee enriched with 200 mg of Green Coffee Bean Extract. Neither group was instructed to change their diet or exercise habits. The group taking the instant coffee with green coffee bean extract lost 11.9 pounds (5.4 kg), while the group taking plain instant coffee lost only 3.7 pounds (1.7 kg). Body fat percentage also went down by 3.6% in the green coffee extract group, compared to 0.7% in the other group.
Also, in 2011 a review in the Journal Gastroenterology Research and Practice found Green Coffee Bean Extract to lower body weight more significantly than a placebo in three studies. Although average weight loss —about 5.5 pounds — was moderate (perhaps because the doses were a modest 180 to 200 mg/day).
Gymnema sylvestre
Compounds extracted from Gymnema have been shown to reduce the absorption of sugar from the intestinal tract and boost insulin production, all of which could help lower blood sugar. Animal testing confirms that Gymnema reduces blood glucose levels. Gymnema sylvestre has been shown to help eliminate sugar cravings, balances blood sugar levels, regulates body weight, and reduces insulin secretion. Gymnema sylvestre extract can make weight loss easier. Gymnema has demonstrated an anti-obesity effect in humans, prevents weight gain, and improves health markers associated with being overweight. One study has shown that overweight people find that they eat less when they take Gymnema sylvestre before meals. Gymnema helps to reduce body weight, but without stimulating the central nervous system. This means it doesn’t increase stress, alter cortisol levels, or disrupt sleep. Gymnema pairs well with a ketogenic diet for fat loss. It makes the transition to low-carb intake easier and reduces the adverse effects of eating too many carbs, particularly too much sugar.
